June 12 & 13 5pm – 6pm
Instructor: Jerri Lee Nielsen, Certified Professional Photographer
Do you have a camera with advanced controls, but usually shoot everything on Auto mode…because you haven’t had time to learn the basics of exposure, you’re worried about not getting a decent shot, or you’re concerned about trying to find the right settings while you’re out with family and friends? Have you been dying to capture that beautiful landscape the way you truly see it, or catch that amazing bird in mid-flight?
Come on down to the Blue Goose Gallery for an introduction to the basics – after this class you’ll feel more confident in your ability to shoot different subjects and have the tools you need to produce better photographs.
Please bring your favorite camera with advanced controls (e.g. the ability to put the camera into manual mode), lens (if you’re using a dslr), camera manual (for reference, if you still have it), memory cards, charged battery, tripod (tripod not required, but a useful tool if you have one), and sturdy hiking shoes.
Let me know the brand and model of the camera you’re bringing, and I will try to find an online version of its manual for use during the class.
